SIDBI Financial Assistance scheme for startups

SDIBI has launched a financial assistance scheme for growing startups to meet their working capital requirement for salaries, vendor financing, supply chain financing, etc. in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The scheme’s objective is to provide support to the Govt. of India defined startups whose cash flow and liquidity has been adversely impacted. The loan can be upto INR 2 crore per startup. The scheme also provides insurance coverage for employee’s life and the loan itself which is a great value proposition for the startups. SIDBI aims to support more than 100 startups with the scheme. We congratulate SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India) and SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd.

“Business In The Time Of COVID-19” Webinar

The webinar on “Business In The Time Of COVID-19” organized by Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), NITI Aayog in partnership with Avaana Capital and supported by Inc42 was attended by more than 250 participants across various social media platforms. This webinar was first of the informative web series launched by WEP to provide women entrepreneurs with strategies and best practices to help them navigate through the impact of the pandemic.

The panel was led by Anjali Bansal, founder of Avaana Capital and Chair, Women Entrepreneurship Platform – NITI Aayog Investment Council. We closed our next investment in AlphaVector, Parent Company of the bicycle brand-Frog, in January 2020. Frog focuses on innovations to improve the bicycling experience for everyone. The brand already has a formidable retail presence in over 250 cities across 600+ retail points.
