Structuring Elements Of Funding Mechanisms To Increase Investments In Women Entrepreneurs,

Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) and GenderSmart Investing Summit curated an engaging technical workshop on December 8th, 2020. The workshop delved into structuring elements of funding mechanisms – towards increasing investments in women entrepreneurs.

Avaana Capital presented at the event among several prominent investors across the globe and the event was attended by numerous MDBs, MFIs, and other investors. The event proved to be an opportunity to learn from others working in this space and to together discuss what can be done to move this important agenda ahead.

We-Fi is a collaborative partnership among 14 governments, eight multilateral development banks (MDBs), and other public and private sector stakeholders, and hosted by the World Bank Group.

Avaana Capital joined an esteemed panel at Macquerie Momentum 2020 themed “India Moving Forward” on December 4th, 2020. The panel on Funding India’s Digital Dreams proved to be an enriching discussion on the emerging trends in the Indian digital landscape. Investor Sentiment – Where Did The Money Go?

TiE Delhi organized the COVID- 19 and Antifragility of Indian Startup Ecosystem –  Report Launch on October 14th, 2020. Anjali Bansal was the panelist on their session on Investor Sentiment – Where did the Money go?.

The panel delved into the changing perceptions of LPs in India, VC’s managing optics, changes in investment thesis in India due to COVID as well as growth plans of startups and associated valuations with the existing shape of the global economy.
