Avaana Capital participated in the TiE Sustainability Summit 2021. Anjali Bansal was part of a panel on “Strategies for Net-Zero Carbon Emissions” held on 5th October.
The panel also included Praveen Sahay: Founder & Managing Director, Wave Equity Partners, Shailesh Vickram Singh: Co-Founder – Massive Mobility, and Satish Jha: Chairman & CEO of ECCO Electronics Pvt. TiE India Internet Day – Investment and Funding Trends
Avaana Capital was a part of the India Internet Day organised by TiE Delhi-NCR on 23rd and 24th September. Anjali Bansal participated in a panel discission on “Investment & Funding Trends”, along with Rajat Agarwal (MD – Matrix Partners India), Anirudh Singh (MD – Alpha Wave Incubation) and Rahul Khanna (Co-Founder & Managing Partner – Trifecta Capital). The session was moderated by Rajan Anandan, MD – Sequoia Capital & Surge.
The theme for India Internet Day 2021 was “Digital India: Escape Velocity”, with a focus on tech trends including Fintech, Crypto SaaS for SMEs, Gig Economy, capital markets, healthcare, Hybrid education, and more.

Net Zero Bharat: Getting to the Green Frontier
In a fireside chat hosted by Anjali Bansal in association with the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Member of Parliament, Shri Jayant Sinha, talked about India’s ambition to attain net-zero emissions by 2050. While the climate crisis looms ahead, the challenge for developing countries like India is getting to net zero emissions without sacrificing job creation and economic development.
